Senior Operations Officer (Senior Security/Investigations Specialist)

The Ackerman Group LLC, a respected Fort Lauderdale-based international investigations and security company, seeks a candidate for a position as a Senior Security/Investigations Specialist. For the last forty-seven years, we have been recognized as an industry leader in developing and implementing strategies to protect multinational corporations and their personnel from terrorists and criminals, planning for contingencies, navigating extortions and other financial and/or physical threats, and recovering kidnap victims.  Be available for immediate deployment anywhere in the world on kidnappings, extortions, threats, and other emergencies.  Manage and conduct timely evaluations of security incidents to determine a course of action.  Provide briefings for internal and external audiences.  Provide training seminars to diverse corporate groups.  Coordinate logistics for executive protection details.  Conduct physical security audits.  Write and edit reports according to company policy and guidelines.  Handle information with appropriate levels of security and confidentiality.  Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Professional experience and Qualifications:

 At least three years’ service in the armed forces, intelligence service, or law enforcement  Excellent English writing skills  Fluent Spanish  Willingness to relocate to Miami/Fort Lauderdale area  Availability for travel  Minimum education requirement of a BA
